I don't know

I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️
“I need to find a new job, but I don’t know what I want to do or where to start.”
“I don’t know where I see myself in five years.”
“I don’t know what my skills are.”
And that’s okay.
Maybe that’s why you have set aside time to reflect. The fact that you are taking the time to pause, question yourself and acknowledge what you don’t know is already a positive step towards greater self-awareness, personal growth and professional development.
Not knowing can feel frightening. We want certainty because certainty gives us a sense of control.
But forcing ourselves to find an answer before we are ready can create even more stress. And decisions made out of fear rarely lead us where we truly want to go.
So perhaps “I don’t know” is not something to be afraid of.
Perhaps it simply means:
. I’m still learning.. I’m still exploring.. I’m still becoming.. I have not arrived yet — and that’s okay.
It is about honesty. It is self-awareness. It is integrity.
And sometimes, finding out what you really want starts with being brave enough to admit that you don’t know yet.
