Hello!

My name is Fanny Baert

Throughout my life, I had to adjust to new situations and I implemented change many times.

I started out as an international sales manager for a Belgian company, but then worked mostly in the humanitarian and not for profit sector.  As an Emergency Response Unit officer at the International Red Cross, I travelled all over the world and I had the opportunity to work with people of various cultures and nationalities. In my life, I moved five times, and I lived and worked in four different countries.  Each time, I had to adjust to a new personal and professional environment. It was not always easy, as I had to find a balance between the needs of my family and my personal and professional interests.

It has always been important to me to have a purpose and meaningful job, doing my part in creating a better world. With ups and downs, I was able to find my mission and meaning wherever I was, and I used my strengths such as courage, entrepreneurship, creativity and 'hunger for learning' to find my purpose.

For the last 20 years, I have mainly worked in partnership development and communications, designing strategies to achieve concrete objectives while collaborating with all stakeholders and highlighting shared values.

I have decided to leverage my lifelong skills and experience by becoming a coach, eager to help YOU find your values and purpose and adjust to change in YOUR life.

My Passions

Nature and especially water give me strength and calmness.  I swim two to three times a week in my neighbourhood swimming pool. I am also training to swim longer distances in open water.

I love hiking and exploring the world with my partner, family and friends. I like to discover new places and to immerse myself in local experiences. I like to work with my hands as well, so I knit sweaters and scarves. Recently, I picked up photography again. Finally, I like to connect with people and hear their stories.
